I'm a big advocate of flexible working.
I'm also incredibly fortunate I work for an organisation that offers flexible working.
Well, embraces it is more accurate.
With my travel, home life and responsibilities as a parent, my working day is spread out over the day.
I work both in an office and outside the office. So reading this blog (thanks to my brother for forwarding it on) was of real interest. I know it's US centric, however it does give a strong argument to how more companies should look to follow a more flexible working approach. Especially in today's culture where, thanks to technology, we can be online 24/7 just about anywhere in the world......if we want to be.
Perhaps a more balanced approach would be better.
What do you think?
One study found that the number of people who say they cannot concentrate at their desk has increased by 16% since 2008. Also startling: The number of workers who say they do not have access to quiet places to do focused work is up by 13%.
